Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 April 2026
These Terms govern your use of Roylithia Scribe (“Service”) operated by Roylithia. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Roylithia provides AI-assisted tools for academic writing and related workflows. Features, limits, and availability may change. We aim for high quality but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws and institutional rules (including your school's policies on academic integrity).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — for example, not to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights;
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our systems;
- Use output to deceive, harass, or impersonate others;
- Resell or scrape the Service in breach of our plans or technical limits.
4. AI output
Generated content is assistive. You remain responsible for reviewing, citing, and submitting work according to your institution's standards. AI can make mistakes; do not rely on it as the sole source of truth for facts, citations, or legal/medical advice.
5. Intellectual property
We retain rights in the Service, branding, and software. Subject to your plan and these Terms, you may use output you generate for your own academic or professional purposes as permitted by your institution. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content to operate the Service.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features, pricing, and renewal terms are presented at purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or our stated refund policy.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where allowed. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Nigeria shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
